So here's how ya do it!
1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
2tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp oil
1 cup water.
Combine all ingredients over med-high heat, keep stiring until it all comes together into a ball. spread out onto a cutting board/counter top until its cool to the touch. Knead for a few minutes until smooth. Seperate into individual balls and use food coloring and mix into dough.
Its SO easy,and takes less than 5 minutes to do it all :)

Woot Brandie go mama! I LOVE making this stuff for my kids when I have time! Thanks for sharing your experience! I do have to admit I'm not as nice with how many colors though LOL! :D
ReplyDeleteInstead of food coloring you can use a package of koolaid... then you have it smelling good to!
ReplyDeleteCan you let this dry out and become hard or put in oven on low temps to harden?
ReplyDeleteHmmm I would assume you could just leave it out and let it harden...but I dont think i've ever tried...I'll look into it Michelle and let you know!
