Start it up, again.

First of all, I would like to apologize for my extended absence.  See, I work in a Tax office...and January-April 15th is our insane, crazy, stab-myself-in-the-eye, busy time....so my blog took a back burner while I was busy catering to tax returns.

But that time is ova...and I'm back and ready to go with more crafts!  I cannot wait to show you all what I've been up to!  But that'll be tomorrow...I still need to get pictures ready! haha!

But I will leave you with something fun I've been doing lately: Crocheting . I LOVE me some crocheting, and have been doing A LOT of it lately...I've made a few blankets, including this one:

Do you love it? I DO!  There is an amazing guy on Youtube named Mikey (http://www.youtube.com/user/mikeyssmail?feature=g-all-u )
He has amazing tutorials, and this is from one of them..called the Neverending granny square.  It LOOKS difficult, but honestly, its not!

OK, More tomorrow! PROMISE!

Crochet your heart out!

I've been in a very chillax mood lately when its been time to craft.
I haven't had a ton of inspiration, and to be quite honest...my craft room is a hot mess, so I dont really want to even go in there! ha!

But I HAVE been in a crochet-ing mood.
Youtube has been an amazing source for all these really neat stitches and ideas for crochet projects.

Here is one that I made just lastnight!
The yard was a PITA to work with, but the cap turned out so cute!

AND, This is by far one of my most favorite pieces I have made, ever.
The picture does not do the color justice, its a super pretty lilac color.
LOVE.

Ms. Shelby Jane will be rocking it in style this winter (since ya know, Winter is just barely starting for some!)

Also, my Mom gave me some of my Grandma's old crochet hooks, and I adore using them! Makes me feel like she is right there, showing me what to do :) <3

Happy Merry Christmas New Years

I'm a bad blogger...and I'm so sorry for just disappearing off the face of the earth!  The holidays seems to get just to hectic its hard to keep up with trying to craft, take pictures of it all, blog it, promote the post..blah blah...so I just hid for a while! ha!

But I'm back now! Muahahaha!

During my leave of absence, I have still been busy crafting away.  I may not have taken many picture of the process, I did take final pictures!

So lets get started wish Show and Tell, shall we?

We made Salt Dough Ornaments! Ambitious, I know.

So here they are all cut out and drying.  I got the recipe off of Pintrest, and to be totally honest, I cannot find the recipe again...Sorry!
And here they are all decorated up...Can you tell we gave them away as gifts? Aiden needed his name on ALL of them apparently.

Then I found a super cute idea on Pintrest for rolled scrapbook paper Christmas trees!
This really only took me about 15-20 minutes to make, and its freaking adorable!

No projects here, just..

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I hope 2012 brings you much happiness, and alcohol!
(but only if you are over 21...if you aren't then I hope 2012 brings you much happiness and orange juice!)

Not a project either, but Pop the Pig is invaded my home..(Thanks Mom!)
Its a disgusting game where you feed a Pig hamburgers until its stomach gets so big it "pops"
Gross. Hilarious. My 4 year old LOVES it.

Now to my FAVORITE project of 2012 thus far.
BABY COWBOY BOOTS!
OMG!
I'm in love.  And I dont even have a baby girl to put them on, but my awesome friend Sarah just had an adorable baby girl! I still need to make the other boot....I just made this one lastnight! ha!
It takes over 2 hours to make, but its so worth it! LOVE!

Well, thats it for now, folks.
I will be back SOON with more crafts, ideas, and all around dorkiness!

Take care now, bye bye then
